The Queensland Family History Society Inc (QFHS) was formed in Brisbane in 1979 as a non-profit, non-sectarian, non-political organisation with the aim of promoting the study of family, and local history, genealogy, and heraldry, and encouraging the collection and preservation of records relating to the history of Queensland families.
