Talking about ... the One Voyage version of a One Place Study

Grab your coffee, put it on your stable table, and join us for this interesting discussion secure in the knowledge that your mug won't slide off the table.

You may discover a family, village, county or occupation cluster, or a long-lost voyage journal may turn up. Your ancestor may have held an honorary position during the voyage. Did the ship make free pratique, or was it quarantined on arrival? Did fellow passengers, or their Australian-born children, marry each other once in Australia?

A One Place Study can be the ideal vehicle for honing your research skills. If you have experience of any sort of One Place Study we would particularly appreciate your input.
