Talking about ... The home front in World War I
This is a chance to tell your stories about your family during the Great War, discover new resources, and ask questions.

From the distance of 100 years it may appear that the war effort was all-consuming on the home front. But life did go on.

Births, deaths and marriages
Recreation - sport, picnics, concerts
Business - industry, land development, farming, and mining
Worship
Politics

How did the war effort and the embargoes on German imports interweave with everyday life?
Please bring along your stories of Australia at this time to share over a cup of coffee.

A zoom link will be sent to registered attendees the night before the meeting.
