Talking about ... Ethical Communication of Sensitive Research Discoveries

When the desire to share a discovery is a scratch you can't itch.

Have you found an ancestor who was treated at 1st Australian Dermatological Hospital at Bulford, UK during World War I? Was there an ancestor who was convicted and transported? Maybe an employer of South Sea Islander labour?

Your discovery will have been the result of dedicated research by you. Congratulations.

This is a chance to share your discovery and the research methodology that led to it with others who will appreciate the work you have done.

Some of you may find a resolution to the dilemma of how much further the discovery should be "shared" while you are discussing your discovery with family history colleagues.

This event will be held at 10:00 am Queensland, Australia time (AEST, no daylight saving)
