Stephen Sheaffe AM has written 10 books on his, and his wife Glenda’s, family history plus books on local history in the Stephens Shire and has many papers published in the Queensland History Journal and elsewhere.

The method he adopted is much the same for each book. He will refer to the methodology adopted in the first book (Sheaffe family History) on his side of the family and the methodology used in the book on Glenda’s maiden name (McCutcheon).  This book is titled The McCutcheon Super Fifteen.
