Members Lounge - Social - Tour of State Library of Queensland
We will have time for a coffee/tea in the café before the Library staff take us on a behind-the-scenes tour. After the tour, we can split into a few groups, e.g. some on level 4 in the John Oxley Library, some on level 3 on microfilm/other resources.
Please note:
· The behind-the-scenes tour will take about one(1) hour. During this time participants will be required to be on their feet and often in confined spaces.
· You can bring your own lunch and other snacks, or use the café on the ground floor.
· Bring your research questions.
· We will contact participants prior to the event to confirm arrangements.
Closing date: Bookings for this trip will close at 5.00 pm on Sunday 15 March 2026 to enable SLQ to make arrangements for staff to guide the tour. Numbers are limited so please book early, there is a maximum of 15.
