Technology SIG

Description

The Technology Interest Group is a new interest group established in 2026 and will provide an opportunity for members to discuss and learn how to make the most of technology both for family history and personal use.. This includes commonly used computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, research websites and the rapidly expanding field of AI. It will not cover technology already discussed in other interest groups such as DNA, FTM etc.

Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month, held alternatively at the centre and via Zoom. Members must register with the convenor to receive the link to the session.
