Irish Interest Group
Description

The Irish Interest Group is for QFHS members who are researching their Irish families.
The availability of and access to Irish records has improved dramatically in recent years, so now is an ideal time to begin or revisit researching your Irish family history.
Our meetings include short talks and longer presentations on Irish resources, research techniques, history and culture. Members also have an opportunity to discuss their research progress and successes, and to use the knowledge and skills within the group to help each other try and solve research obstacles.
If you are interested in joining please contact the Convenor.
Meetings
The Group meets in the QFHS Library and Resource Centre between 10.30 am and 12.30pm on the second Saturday in February, April, June, August, and October.
Convenor(s)
