Chris was inspired to research his family history by tales of ancestors from his grandmother¾and the absence of a grandfather.
He has written three books of family history for close family and is a convenor of QFHS’s Scottish and DNA groups.
All of the techniques of family history have been needed to trace his ancestors, including surname research, which has been useful with English, Cornish, Scottish, and Silesian ancestors.
