The Voyage of John Forbes Carswell 1883 This is the account of the journey of migration of a Scottish family, from Dundee in Scotland to Maryborough in Queensland, Australia. It is derived from the handwritten daily notes of the progress and events of a voyage to Australia from Glasgow on the Clipper, the “S” Maulesden, during the period 1 March to 16 May 1883.
Wartburg State School - Baffle Creek Jubilee book (with index)  Baffle Creek was first settled in 1908 by Prussian and German immigrants. government land orders they had expected to receive were not available, so they had to wait for six months living on a hill that they called Wartburg meaning waiting place or perhaps watchtower. (Wikipedia).

Wartburg State School opened on 11 August 1913. This book was written and made available in 1963 for the celebration of the Wartburg State School Golden Jubilee.
