QFHS print library has more than 14,000 printed books and journal titles, located in an air-conditioned room.
We are always adding new or donated titles to our collection. The majority of the titles are on diisplay in the room of the Family History Resource Centre. The remainder are stored onsite in compactuses. If you require any title not on display, please ask a Library Assistant.
QFHS uses a Library Classification Scheme modelled on that designed for the Society of Australian Genealogists in Sydney, NSW.

QFHS currently receives more than 300 journal titles in print form and in electronic form. We acquire these journals by exchange with other family history societies or by paid subscriptions.
If you require any journal not on display, please ask a Library Assistant.
The Family History Research Centre is a reference library only. Our Reference Library books are not available for loan.
QFHS has a small lending library.
