This index is the result of many years of work by member, Sue Harrod. Sue was a volunteer at the Springsure Information Centre and Museum and President of the Progress and Tourism Association. The Information Centre and Museum had a number of books for sale. Many of these books, written by local residents, had no indexes. Assisting visitors looking for family history in finding a person was difficult, so Sue created an index. The index now contains 12,963 names.
