Queensland Globe: get hands-on with Queensland geographyPresenter: Dr Kerry Raymond![]() This will be delivered online.Queensland Globe is an interactive mapping website providing access to the spatial information held by the Queensland Government. It is a powerful tool with an extensive array of information that can be overlaid on the maps, but it can be overwhelming for the beginner. This hands-on session will be aimed at beginners including: navigating around the Globe, searching for locations by a range of methods, obtaining information about a particular place, and working with the hundreds of built-in data layers (some of which will be included in the presentation). Some of the limitations of the Qld Globe will also be discussed.
