Once you know how, creating a slide show of some aspect of your family history is not difficult.

Would you like to create a Slideshow Presentation of your family history, but cannot afford to buy Microsoft Office so that you can use PowerPoint? Luckily for you there is a free option - using Google Slides. In this session you will see some examples to get you excited about the process of creating a Slide Presentation. You will learn about the requirements, and some things you need to think about first. Then you will get an introduction to:

Basic backgrounds to your slides
Text and formatting
Images and other additions
Simple animations, and
Presentation hints and tips.

Each topic will have a followup video which you can watch at your leisure, and step through as you are trying this out for yourself later. There will also be a handout with Resource links.
