QFHS has the largest bookshop of genealogical resources in
Queensland. The Society's resources for sale to members and the wider community
include -
- our very own publications - books, films, microfiche
and CD-ROM
- a wide range of genealogical and related books
and microfiche by several other notable Australian and overseas
publishers
- genealogical research aids: record forms - Family
Group, Immigration, Census, Australian BDM, General Register Office
(GRO), International Genealogical Index (IGI),
Old Parish Register, Baptism, Burial, Marriage, and Griffith Valuation
sheets - all of which are very useful for good record keeping);
and blank pedigree (A4, 7, 9, and 12 generation) charts, and more
- a limited
range of genealogy software
programs (Family Tree Maker [FTM], Generations
- Family Tree).
All genealogical products can be purchased -
- by mail order posted
to Bookshop Sales
- or by visiting
our library and resource centre during normal opening hours. We
recommended that you telephone during library
hours to check if the item you require is currently
in stock and immediately available.

- CDs and films attract a small posting and packing
fee for delivery within Australia
